Clyde and I live in 'Gula Huset' this lovely yellow house in Lund.
Winter
It doesn't snow that much in Lund, but when it does we had fun to battle the winter blues. For the first year at Gula Huset (The Yellow House) the flags of Sweden, NZ, The Californian Republic and Brittany flew alongside the United Nations. We also manage to get out of the classroom and take to the streets occasionally, unicycle and all, to 'make change happen' and discourage cars in the central city.
Climbing at Kjugekull
Kjugekull is the best bouldering area in Scandinavia and is a short sustainable train ride and cycle trip from Lund. It is a magic place and a favourite escape to relax for a camping and climbing weekend.

Breanäs Field Trip
In September we went on our first class field trip to Breanäs in northeastern Skåne, this province in the south of Sweden, where my group had a good time building a sandpit model of a water catchment and playing on the slide! We also learnt a lot.
Eight of us - representing 7 countries, took to the road for the weekend after the field trip. In Sweden you can camp anywhere under the allemansrätten laws or rights-of-all-men. It's polite to ask and we ended up being amazingly well looked after by Gun and Olof...
